Here is the first type of Canadian diamond can. As far as my research goes they only produced 12oz size cans on the Western side of Canada ie: Alberta, Calgary, British- Columbia.
-- The usual size for Canadian cans is 10oz these 12oz Canadian cans are harder to come by. I would go as far as to say rarer than most of the U.S. cans that are available.

Circa: 1960

This 10oz can was the domestic version of the diamond cans in Canada. Although these cans are rare, they are much more common. This is the first version that came out. It is matt red.

Circa: 1960

This is the second Canadian10oz version. This one is metallic. (Relatively common)

Circa: 1960's

This is another can that I'm very glad to have in my collection. It took me over 3 years to find one like this and in such excellent condition.
These cans were most likely made in Western Canada. This is considered to be quite a scarce can. I love the graphics on the back of this can!

Circa: 1965

This is the last diamond version that was produced in Canada. This particular version is harder to find since it is a flat top and most of the harlequin designed cans already came in zip top form. The pictures beside, show a zip top version of the same can.
